Adam Lambert is getting ready to hit the road with the legendary Queen!

And before they kick it off on Thursday, the American Idol alum called in to On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Monday morning to give us some details on what fans can expect at tonight’s iHeartRadio Theater performance.

“It’s kind of like a little sampler of our big arena tour that we’re about to kick off on Thursday in Chicago.” explains Adam. “We’re kind of putting the highlights together for the audience tonight. The rehearsal process has been a blast. Getting back onstage with these guys has been really good.”

Adam, 32, has played with Queen a number of times over the years, so this time around, he’s not nervous anymore.

“The first time we did this in front of a big, big, big audience, I was trembling in my boots a little bit,” he admits. “Now it feels like we’re really, really one jelled unit. We’ve done this now, all the nerves are out. What’s good about that when we get onstage, we want to do it better every time. It kind of raises the game.”

Adam will play with Queen tonight at the iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles … and fans can stream the performance on Yahoo! here at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET.
