Watch Google's Heartwarming Tribute To Mister Rogers

Google is celebrating the the VERY first day Fred Rogers began filming his iconic show exactly 51 years ago today.

According to Google, "the Doodle aims to be a reminder of the nurturing, caring, and whimsy that made the show feel like a “television visit” between Mister Rogers and his young viewers."

The charming stop motion clip is set to Mister Rogers' wonderful opening song "Won't You Be My Neighbor". Growing up, the neighborhood trolley was always one of my favorite parts of the show. It's featured in the tribute along with that looks to be a pinker version of Daniel Striped Tiger (different looking character, same clock without hands from the show).

There's no denying the power of positivity, especially in children's television!

Check out how the Doodle tribute video was made below!
