Tony Hawk tears it up in an empty swimming pool while tenants cheer him on

How cool is Tony Hawk? Cool enough to be one of the most lengendary skaters of all-time, cool enough to have an iconic video game series that's firmly ingrained in the minds of 90's kids everywhere, and cool enough to drop by random skateparks and apartment complexes just to skate for the sheer joy of it.

Hawk, who is frequently NOT recognized as himself, decided to take his kids to an empty pool at an apartment complex is sleepy Lemoore, California in hopes that they could tear it up as a family. While Hawk knew there was a chance he would get kicked out or possibly even arrested, he was surprised to see the complete opposite thing happen. Instead, residents were overjoyed to share their space with the skateboard god himself and Hawk rewarded their genorosity by busting out a few tricks on-demand. My favorite moment is when the "mayor" of the apartment block proudly proclaims "I'm gangsta, but I know Tony Hawk when I see Tony Hawk!"

We need more of these wholesome, people-centric moments in life! So much respect and kindness was shown by both Hawk & his family as well as the group of tenants.
