Jimmy Kimmel would be proud!

A new study from the National Confectioners Association found that about 79% of parents admit to stealing some candy out of their kid's trick-or-treat stash. 31% of parents admit to stashing away some of their favorites (the classic steal & stash combo!).

How different is Halloween going to be this year with the pandemic still going on? It's tough to tell now, but 65% of the parents surveyed said they still plan on doing some form of trick-or-treating either by going out with their kids or doing something special at home. Most importantly, 80% of parents acknowledge that Halloween wouldn't be the same without chocolate or candy.

Parents, are you planning on treating yourself to some of your kid's candy? My mom used to always take all of the Reese's out of my trick-or-treat hault (child abuse, I know) as part of what she called "the mutha's tax".
