Cinema Saver will be closing until Spring 2021 effective October 25

One of my favorite local spots is temorarily closing its doors until the Spring. Cinema Saver in Endicott has announced October 25th will be its last day open for the forseeable future.

The owners made it clear that they still have 10-12 months of money to ride out the shutdown storm and that they will still be honoring private party reservations (the only way to actually see a movie legally at an indoor movie theater in NYS at the moment) now through the 25th. This temporary shutdown is intended to keep costs low until theaters are allowed to reopen, hopefully by Spring 2021.

Cinema Saver will also be selling popcorn and other concessions for the next three weekends, Thursday-Sunday from 3:30-6:30 PM!

The statement from Cinema Saver's ownership can be viewed below. I certainly hope they can get back to business safely and profitably as soon as reasonably possible! Great people, great popcorn, great local business. Please support them by swinging by for popcorn these next few weekends!
