If You Get Set Up on a Blind Date, Would You Google Them First?

Do you Google your dates ahead of meeting them? The topic came up when Sisanie shared Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris did some digging into husband Doug Emhoff before their fairytale romance began.

Doug Emhoff will become the first-ever Second Gentleman on Inauguration Day tomorrow. The duo met on a blind date in 2013 and were married a year later. Kamala Harris’ best friend set them up and told her to trust her and not to Google him, but she did anyway.

Emhoff, an LA entertainment lawyer, said that he was at a Lakers game with a friend when he decided to send a text to Harris, who was California's Attorney General at the time. The next morning, he called her and said he left this ridiculous voicemail, which she has saved and plays back to him on their anniversary every year. (Also, adorable.)

While it all worked out for them, Sisanie is against Googling ahead of dates.

What do you think? What would you do? Watch the video above to join the convo.
