The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a flood warning for the following rivers in New York...Pennsylvania...Susquehanna River At Conklin affecting Broome and Susquehanna Counties.
The National Weather Service in Binghamton New York has issued a Flood Warning fo rThe Susquehanna River At Conklin from Thursday morning until further notice.* At 3 PM Wednesday the stage was 11.0 feet and rising flood stage is 12.0 feet. Minor flooding is forecast.
The river is expected to rise above flood stage around 8 AM Thursday and crest near 14.1 feet around 2 AM Friday.
The river is expectedto remain above flood stage through Saturday. Impact...At 14.0 feet...Water begins to affect properties closest to the river from Corbettsville to Five Mile Point. Some water begins to back up into Schnurbusch Park.
