The Chainsmokers hit weekend television's biggest stage Saturday night with not one but two tracks off of their recently released debut album Memories... Do Not Open.
First, they performed "Paris" with Drew Taggart and Emily Warren handling the main and backup vocals respectively (and Alex Pall holding down keyboard and some percussion duties) before diving into "Break Up Every Night", which wasn't released as a single and is the second song on the album.
Overall, I'd say both songs sounded decent and Drew's live vocals are definitely improving. Can we all agree that the live drums sound AMAZING? Kudos to Matt McGuire for signing on to tour with the duo. In my mind, the more live instrumentation you bring to a show, the better!
