Some mountain bikers got a much bigger adrenaline rush than they bargained for when a fully grown bear appeared alongside them. The animal briefly purses the first biker before turning off and running down a hill.
To anyone asking why both men stopped, I'd guess that the trail is a switchback and they feared running back into the bear if they continued further down the trailer. To any animal experts out there, do you think the bear ran off out of fear or did it just decide that the first biker was moving too fast to catch? I can't tell if the beast is curious or if it's actually trying to hurt someone.
