Ever since I started flying regularly as a little kid (give or take once a month), I always shot close friends and family a quick "plane leaving now, will hit you up when I land" text message. However, thanks to Delta Airlines, you'll be able to keep your conversation going even up at 30,000 feet starting on October 1. According to the airline,
You won't be able to send photos and videos, but will be able to add emojis to airborne messages. Worth noting, the vast majority of Delta's planes both big and small (ie the ones that fly into Binghamton) have the necessary onboard wifi to allow the free messaging.
