Cloudflare is a Silicon Valley tech firm bringing new life to old lava lamps. By tracking the unpredictable patterns of 'lava' bubbles in the camps, the company is able to generate strings of random numbers used to encrypt data that needs to be kept secure.
As ingenious as all of this sounds, I'd imagine the monthly electric bill for this place is INSANE.
