There are some things in this world that seem too good to be true. Spreadable gin definitely SEEMS like it'd be one of those things. Luckily, the preserve is very real.
Online retailer Firebox.com claims you can spread it, bake with it, drink it, or even eat it straight from the jar. What, however, would YOU spread this award-winning stuff on? Firebox recommends...get this... Cucumber sandwiches!
Fresh cukes with spreadable gin? I might have to take a raincheck on that!
Sadly, we cannot actually order the spread in the United States even though the alcohol is cooked off in the manufacturing process.
The retailer's explanation ," We want to be able to deliver all of our products to every country in the world, but unfortunately at this moment it’s not possible. Sorry. This is usually due to shipping restrictions such as; electronic components, alcohol, food and even size and weight (in some rare cases)."
Bummer!
