The Greater Binghamton Air Show Needs Volunteers

posted by @ScottDoesRadio -

Start your summer off right by spending a Saturday with your eyes on the sky at the Greater Binghamton Air Show, returning for the first time in 4 years!

Want to help out AND get in for free? Event organizers are offering volunteers free admission plus an extra ticket for a friend as well as a t-shirt! If you're happy just being around planes and assisting total strangers (possibly making some new friends in the process), this is totally for you.

According to a WBNG report, volunteers are needed for a wide variety of tasks including assisting with admissions or hospitality.

To apply as a volunteer, fill out the application by June 1 on the event website here and email it to Aviation@co.broome.ny.us  Finding the application is a bit tricky!

  1. Open the above link and scroll down until you see "Performers and Static Displays" listed just above a Google Map
  2. Look to the right of "Performers and Static Displays" then click "Get Involved" to access the volunteer application.
