Red Cross Honors DoubleTree Employee Who Saved Infant's Life

The American Red Cross just honored 20 "Real Heroes" from across the Southern Tier including a quick thinking hotel employee who saved the life of an infant.

According to a Fox40 report from Amy Hogan, DoubleTree employee Amanda Kelly had volunteered to work late one night last July when a mother rushed into the lobby to her with an unresponsive infant just minutes after her regularly scheduled shift had ended. Kelly leapt into action and used her Red Cross training to use a special Heimlich technique on the baby to get them breathing again,

Kelly reportedly received the American Red Cross Good Neighbor Award.
