Shawn Mendes and Khalid aimed to accomplish something bigger than themselves in their latest music video. The "Youth" video is co-written by several Marjory Stoneman Douglas and highlights a whole bunch of inspiring young men and women.
According to the video's YouTube description, some of those talented young folks include a 17-year-old painter named Autumn de Forest, an environmental activist named Xiuhtezcatl Martinez, Hasaan Hawthorne, a 20-year-old double amputee and Wrestling State Champion, 18-year-old drag performer Clawdeena, and 18-year-old D'Angelo McDade, a survivor of gun violence.
All of the wonderful people featured in the video have something in common.. they don't let the obstacles they encounter in life stop them from inspiring others and being inspired themselves. Feel free to let me know your thoughts on the "Youth" music video down below!
