WATCH: Guy makes his own Mountain Dew wine

There's apparently a creative mind out there who finally cracked the code on how to give his Mountain Dew a little extra kick. YouTube channel Human Echoes has an instructional video on how to turn both regular Mountain Dew and Mountain Dew Code Red into wine. Why? Who knows?! Probably because it's the internet and they just felt like it. Watching it still beats sitting through those annoying Fortnite react videos that consist of grown men screaming, crying, and occasionally breaking a keyboard.

Anyway, so how exactly does Mountain Dew become wine? Apparently it involves adding champagne yeast (activated in warm water first) to non-carbonated Mountain Dew. After about a month of waiting, the mix had hit just over 4.5% alcohol. Sadly, the Mountain Dew Code Red wasn't as strong because the soda still had enough carbonation to kill some of the yeast when it was added in.

So what does it taste like? According to the Human Echoes, it was slightly-less-sweet Mountain Dew with about the same kick as drinking some beer.

What do you think... is it nasty or worth trying?
