Alex Trebek isn't just a tv legend, he's a big part of my childhood. My parents and I watched Jeopardy around dinnertime almost every single day since before I can remember and Trebek's sharp wit combined with his kind demeanor made him into one of my favorite hosts of all-time.
He had recently returned to hosting everyone's favorite quiz show and seemed to be in great health. Unfortunately, Alex had to share the tough news today that he will have to go through another round of chemo. The few folks I know who have met Alex say he's a warm, genuine, and truly humble man in person and I sincerely hope that he is able to return to doing what he loves as soon as possible.
