Disney dropped a special preview of its big budget live-action Star Wars series The Mandalorian during last night's Monday Night Football broadcast and it's looking like the type of show that's compelling enough to be worth the price of a Disney+ subscription alone. The series, starring Pedro Pascal and Werner Herzog among other talented actors, centers around a Mandalorian bounty hunter wearing the same type of signature armor that fellow Mandalorians Jango & Boba Fett wore in the Star Wars movies. The series follows the bounty hunter, who appears to have a gun slinging robotic companion as well, as he tracks down fugitives across a massive galaxy teeming with the high-quality world building and plethora of exotic alien species & locations that Star Wars fans love.
Episode 1 of The Mandalorian is out now on Disney+ with additional episodes dropping weekly starting this Friday.
