It has only been a week since BTS dropped their latest album Map Of The Soul: 7 and the extremely likeable group has already made waves on numerous major tv shows.

It all started last Friday, the release date of the new album, where the boys appeared on Today for a live interview.

The group traveled all over NYC last Friday and stopped by MTV Studios shortly after their Today appearance

As this week rolled around, few folks (who weren't ARMYs) could have predicted BTS making such a momumental impact on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.

So, how monumental are we talking? According to Forbes, BTS' appearance on Monday night's episode of Fallon made it the most socially interacted with television episode of ANY show, ANY genre, and ANY audience demo of the entire year.

Why the insane amount of social media traction?

  1. Because in my personal experience, members of the BTS ARMY are perhaps the most driven and loyal fans of any group
  2. Because it was truly a GREAT episode packed with moments that showed the wealth of talent, humor, and big personality that the members of BTS all have

For starters, the group took the subway with Fallon while answering a wide range of questions from fans including touching on the Black Bean incident (man's gotta eat!!) as well as their love of John Cena. How can anyone not love their personalities?! Dudes are consistently positive, outgoing, and recognize a variety of other artists and entertainers despite being arguably the biggest group on earth right now!

One segment wasn't enough for BTS on Fallon though! The group also played some hilarious mini-games while still on the subway.

We aren't even close to reaching the end of the group's legenday show takeover!

The group also took a trip to the iconic Katz's Deli and led to one of my favorite moments of the episode where RM was baffled by the lack of veggies on the sandwiches, much to Jimmy Fallon's amusement. Then the group tried their hand at prepping orders for Jimmy to serve to customers. Definitely fun, but the best part of the night was yet to come!

Sweet mother of pure talent... they really saved the best for last! BTS took over the iconic Grand Central Terminal with members of Blue Devil Entertainment (one of the world's best drumlines) serving as their backup dancers and let's just say I've watched it back approximately 137 times... which is child's play compared to the superfans, I know!

The choreography is stellar. The location is iconic. The vocals are perfect.

What else could you ask for in a performance, aside from hoping it would never end?!

Lastly, BTS also appeared on Carpool Karaoke with James Corden and left me utterly speechless with their phenomenal ability to sing Post Malone and Bruno Mars, nailing the lyrics better than I could ever dream of doing, while still being a primarily non-English-speaking group. Some people may not think much of it, but that is a ridiculously difficult thing to do when you don't usually speak the language the song is sung in. I've got that video and my 100% positive take on their Carpool Karaoke appearance below!
