Dwayne Johnson is back in another interesting looking adventure movie Disney's Jungle Cruise, based on the iconic boat ride in the parks. The movie, set in the Amazon Rainforest, follows Johnson and his costar Emily Blunt as they attempt to track down a tree that supposedly can heal anything. Unfortunately, the duo aren't the only people trying to track down the tree. A German expedition, complete with a functional U-boat submarine, also sets their sights on the mystical plant.
Jungle Cruise also stars Paul Giamatti as a harbormaster and Jesse Plemons as an unnamed villain.
The film is currently slated to hit theaters on July 24th, though a delay due to the ongoing Coronavirus situation is a possibility depending on how soon Disney was planning on beginning heavy promotion of the movie and release date.
