Governor Cuomo has joined the Connecticut and New Jersey governors in ordering all theaters, bars, restaurants, gyms, and casinos to close effective tonight at 8PM. Grocery stores will remain open and restaurants will still be allowed to do delivery or take out ord
The move was made with the intent to increase social distancing in a time when many people continued to go out and congregate despite repeated warnings about the risk of spreading or receiving Coronavirus by doing so. This also comes after the CDC encouraged the nation to avoid any gatherings of 50 people or more. Gov. Cuomo joined the governors of Connecticut and New Jersey in issuing the order.
According to the New York Times, there are 950 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in New York State.
