Ed Sheeran brought the house down at Ford Field in Detroit over the weekend when he welcomed rap legend and Detroit icon Eminem up for a surprise performance!
It started with Ed beginning a cover of Eminem's "Lose Yourself" before the man himself emerged from under the stage to join in. One song wasn't enough for the ecstatic crowd, so the two followed it up by performing "Stan".
Ed's Mathematics Tour has been whipping across the U.S. breaking venue attendance records at a breakneck pace, often just weeks after Taylor Swift performed in those same stadiums. If you've never seen him live, he's worth every penny and then some. It's rare when a single artist can stand in the dead center of a stadium completely alone and command a crowd the way Ed Sheeran does.
The crowd at Ford Field would've left plenty happy with no guest appearance, but Eminem showing up turned a great show into a truly unforgettable one for the crowd, Ed Sheeran, and Eminem.
